Christmas drinks or an end-of-year party come down to two things: a place people want to go to, and food that keeps the conversation going. On Witte de Withstraat we have both.

Start early

December fills up before you know it. Companies usually lock in their Christmas drinks in September, so if you start looking in November, the choice is often gone. Have a date or a week in mind? Send your request now.

What is included

Food — straight off our own menu: gyoza's, izakaya bites and the bowls. It gets passed around the table, so people keep talking instead of each sitting behind their own plate.

Drinks — the Japanese cocktails, plus beer, wine and soju. Part of the cocktail list is made with Japanese spirits from the House of Suntory, such as Toki whisky and Roku gin.

DJ — on request, when the drinks need to turn into a party.

The whole place to yourselves. Red neon on black, an open kitchen where you see the folding and frying happen, right in the middle of Rotterdam. Not a back room in a hotel.

How a request works

Christmas drinks are a private hire, arranged in advance: a fixed date and an agreement. You tell us which day, how many people and what you have in mind. We come back with what is possible and what it costs.

Capacity, minimum spend and available days are agreed in that conversation. Drinks for twenty people on a Tuesday are something else than a party on a Saturday night.

Rather keep it small?

A Christmas drink with a few colleagues after work does not need to be arranged. We do not take reservations: you just walk in. Only for a large group, email us beforehand.
