Terms & conditions

Version 1.0 · last updated 19 September 2026

These terms apply to the use of gyozabar.nl, to visiting Gyoza Bar at Witte de Withstraat 77A in Rotterdam, and to private hire bookings. Gyoza Bar is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42111858.

1. Using this website

We keep the information on this website — the menu, the dishes, the prices, the opening hours — as accurate as we can, but it can change at any time. The menu in the bar is the one that counts. Nothing on this website is a binding offer, and no rights can be derived from obvious errors or typing mistakes.

2. Visiting the restaurant

We do not take reservations for regular evenings. You walk in and we seat you if there is room. A table is therefore never guaranteed, however busy or quiet things may look online, and we cannot hold a table for you.

We may refuse entry or ask someone to leave, for example when the place is full, when someone is behaving in a way that spoils the evening for other guests, or when someone cannot show that they are old enough to be served alcohol.

3. Private hire

A private hire works differently from an ordinary evening:

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Prices on this website are indicative; the prices in the bar apply. Payment is made at the end of your visit, by card or in cash. For a private hire, payment terms are set out in the written confirmation.

5. Allergens and dietary requirements

Tell us about an allergy or a dietary requirement before you order, and we will tell you honestly what is possible. We cook in one kitchen with shared equipment and shared fryers, so traces of allergens can never be fully excluded and we cannot guarantee that any dish is entirely free of a given allergen. If an allergy is severe, please weigh that up before you order.

6. House rules

7. Liability

Your coat and your belongings remain your own responsibility. Gyoza Bar is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal property, unless this is the result of intent or gross negligence on our part.

Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount paid out by our liability insurer in the matter concerned, or, failing that, to the amount invoiced for the visit or the booking in question. We are never liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or a missed occasion.

8. Images on this site

Some of the imagery and video on this website is stylised or artificially generated for atmosphere. It conveys the feeling of the place; it is not a photographic record of a specific dish, a specific evening or specific guests. Photographs of the bar and of the food are our own.

9. Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, video, logo, name and design of this website belong to Gyoza Bar or to the parties we work with. You may share and link to them; please ask us before reusing them commercially.

10. Complaints

If something is not right, tell us while you are here — then we can still do something about it. Afterwards you can reach us at info@gyozabar.nl. We aim to respond within 14 days.

11. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes we cannot resolve together will be submitted to the competent court in the district of Rotterdam.

Still to be confirmed before this site goes live: the registered company name and VAT number; whether the Uniform Conditions for the Hospitality Industry (UVH) should be declared applicable alongside these terms; the cancellation and deposit schedule for private hire; and whether a supervised cloakroom is offered.
