Lychee Spritz or Toki Highball — which one do you like better?
Our menu has two drinks that are both light, fresh and bubbly, both cost € 13 — and are nothing alike. The Lychee Spritz and the Toki Highball. Which one do you like better?
The Toki Highball: almost nothing, so everything counts
The highball is the most popular mixed drink in Japan, and the simplest there is: whisky and sparkling water. Ours is made with Suntory Toki, a Japanese blended whisky from the House of Suntory.
This is how we make it: a glass full of ice, the Toki on top, filled up with sparkling water and stirred once, gently. That is it. Because there is so little in it, everything has to be right — a cold glass, hard ice, fresh bubbles, and not too much stirring so it stays lively.
On the menu: crisp · light · refreshing. For people who like whisky but not something heavy, or for people who think they do not like whisky.
The Lychee Spritz: floral and fruity
The Lychee Spritz is the opposite: soft, fruity and fragrant. Lychee, prosecco and sparkling water, over ice, finished with a lychee.
On the menu: floral · fruity · bubbly. For people who love a spritz but would rather skip the bitterness of a classic one.
